The 4-H Archery Special Interest Club is now accepting enrollment! This popular club teaches decision-making, self-discipline, teamwork, self-confidence and problem solving. All while promoting the highest standards of safety, sportsmanship, and ethical behavior. Our State 4-H trained instructors provide a safe, controlled environment for the learning of safe and responsible use of archery equipment.
The 4-H Archery Club will meet on Saturdays at Sauk Valley Archers, 598 Palmyra Rd, Dixon. Dates include Jan 26, Feb 9, Mar 2, 23, April 6, 13. Beginner archers will meet at 1pm and advanced archers (2 + years of training) will meet at 2:30pm. While having your own equipment is not required, it is recommended to have for the advanced class or if you plan on competing at archery contests. Cost to join the archery club is the $20 yearly 4-H membership fee. Youth must be between the ages of 8 and 18 as of Sept 1, 2018 to join.
