State Sen. Neil Anderson and State Rep. Tony McCombie are inviting children and their families to their free Children’s Safety ExpoSaturday, September 8 at Glenview Middle School (3100 7th St.) in East Moline from 9:00 a.m. to noon.   Children will be able to see their favorite vehicles up-close and climb inside with a Touch a Truck experience. This includes a helicopter, ambulance, fire truck, police car, combine, garbage truck, bucket truck, street sweeper, and more.   Demonstrations include Dance Connection at 9:30 a.m., East Moline Police K-9 at 10:00 a.m., All Family ATA Taekwondo at 10:30 a.m., and the drawing for giveaways at noon.   Other activities include face painting, library card sign-up, CPR demonstrations, daycare information, and more. Admission, refreshments, and giveaways are all free.
