and Bureau, IL beginning at 5:10 pm and ending at 11:10 pm (WSDR)
...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...
The Flash Flood Watch continues for
* Portions of Illinois and Iowa, including the following areas,
in Illinois, Bureau, Carroll, Henry IL, Jo Daviess, Mercer,
Putnam, Rock Island, Stephenson, and Whiteside. In Iowa,
Benton, Buchanan, Cedar, Clinton, Delaware, Dubuque, Iowa,
Jackson, Johnson, Jones, Keokuk, Linn, Louisa, Muscatine,
Scott, and Washington.
* Through late tonight
* Additional rounds of storms with heavy rain and intense rainfall
rates could produce flash flooding later today and tonight.
* Hazardous travel conditions are possible due to urban street
flooding, water flowing over roads, and gravel road washouts.
A Flash Flood Watch means that flash flooding is possible.
Monitor forecasts and take action if flash flood warnings are
issued or flash flooding develops.
