There was a chlorine gas leak at the water treatment plant in Albany, Illinois on Saturday, June 17th.   Officials evacuated an estimated 25 people who lived near that plant as a precaution.  One worker at the plant was exposed to the chlorine gas and taken to the hospital.   Albany crews worked for several hours to repair the leak and residents -who were evacuated- were able to return home by Saturday night.   Officials claim the water is safe to consume.
